Task:
Replace a 10" corrugated steel culvert, approximately 85 feet long, crossing under a busy roadway.
Location:
John Muir Drive, along Lake Merced, in San Francisco.
Problem:
Open cut replacement would cause chaotic redirection of busy auto traffic and heavily used bicycle lane.
Solution:
Trenchlessly replace the culvert with 10" fused HDPE, leaving auto and pedestrian traffic lanes undisturbed.
