About Us

TRIC Tools, Inc. invented the Trenchless Pipebursting Technology and built the very first system that ever went to market in 1996. The founders of TRIC, Robert (Bob) Carter and Ward Carter are the founding fathers of this technology. Bob's father, Mitchell Carter invented the Coleman Stove, the Garbage Grinder and Foam Rubber. What does this mean for you? It means that when you hire a TRIC Tools business solution you are hiring decades of Invention. It's in our DNA. TRIC is a California C Corporation is headquartered in Alameda, California. Today, TRIC Tools is an infrastructure and environmental technology company that designs, produces and sells proprietary tools and systems for the "non-invasive" rehabilitation and replacement of sewer, water, gas and other difficult to access underground pipes.

The TRIC Tools solution is in use with a network of more than 400 plumbing and drain contractors in the United States and additional customers internationally.
